COVID-19 Guidelines

As we begin to resume some of our church programs, there are new plans and procedures in place to encourage a safe and comfortable environment for fellowship. 

Below you will find guidelines for the various aspects of our weekly programs and activities. Please familiarize yourself with these guidelines. Please check back regularly as information will be updated as it becomes available.

Sabbath School:

Adult Sabbath School Class are in person and via Zoom in the main sanctuary from 9:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.  

Regular small group adult classes have resumed as well in their rooms.

Young Adults will start Sabbath, July 18 from 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. in the fellowship hall.

Children through teen classes will start Start Sabbath, July 18 from 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. (cradle roll will start July 25)

Please review the below guidelines for adult(where applicable) and children Sabbath School we are taking to ensure everyone's health and safety, and where applicable to, to follow while attending:

  1. Social distancing will be observed in each classroom.  An adult will be required to be with each child in the Cradle Roll room. 

  2. 2 Teachers should be in each children's classroom to help with these guidelines.

  3. For teachers, children, and adults: Please remain home if you or your children are experiencing any symptoms of sickness. 

  4. Masks will be worn by Sabbath School teachers and made available to participants to wear if they choose.

  5. Sanitizing spray,  paper towels, and hand sanitizer will be provided to each teacher and room to allow for disinfecting before and after Sabbath School 

  6. Tissue will be available in each room and children will be given instructions on sneezing into their elbow and keeping their hands clean.  

Worship Services: 

The church facility has now reopened for the following on site services with certain guidelines:

Main Worship Service:

The sanctuary service will begin at 10:50 a.m. for opening song service to be followed by the main worship service at 11:00 a.m. Participants are encouraged to wear masks where possible. Social distancing is encouraged with the recommendation that families sit together and provide space for others in attendance. If overflow is needed it will be provided in the open space of the Narthex. Hand sanitizer will be available at a station upon entering both the foyer and the sanctuary and restroom use will be restricted to one person at a time.

Vespers Service: 

Sabbath evening vespers services is cancelled until further notice.

Prayer Meeting:

Prayer meeting will be held on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 p.m. via Zoom only.
